Elephant & Safari Tour

The largest concentration of Asian Elephants occurs during ‘The Gathering,’ a seasonal event which takes place at Minneriya National Park during August and September. In other parks, elephant watching is good throughout the year. In Udawalawe National Park, elephant sightings are guaranteed, a promise which no other park in Asia can make. Sri Lanka has three species of diurnal primates (two are endemic) and two species of nocturnal primates (two Loris species, with one being endemic). It is probably one of the best places in the world to observe the social dynamics of diurnal primates. The endemic Toque Monkeys have been subjects of one of the longest running field studies in the world.
Bird Watching Tour

The mixed species feeding flocks in Sinharaja (the Sinharaja Bird Waves) are the largest in the world. It is easy to observe because many birds are not afraid of people.

Wonderfull holiday
We were on the road with Sumit for three weeks and had a fantastic holiday with him. Just like us, Sumith is a true nature lover and he knows a lot about it. He knows exactly the places where which animals can be found. His great passion and specialty are birds and in the most impossible places he knows how to find them. In several nature parks where we have been, he knows the local guides and knows exactly which guides are the best for the game drives. Sumith is a safe driver and is very careful, he even went with us to the hospital when it was needed. We couldn’t have found a better guide.
Amazing holiday
Wonderful holiday made extra special with our really helpful and caring guide. Sumith had very good knowledge of BirdLife and we saw some amazing birds. We saw wonderful wildlife including the leopards and elephants.
We would highly recommend him for any future trips to Sri Lanka.

Honeymoon
Sumith has shown us the highlights of Sri Lanka, which he obviously did with lots of pleasure. He is very knowledgeable, if we asked for an ‘extra’ he found a way to deliver. With him we felt safe in traffic 🙂 as he is a very good driver too. We learnt a lot about nature, culture and history, enjoyed lots of time together as newly weds and look back on a great adventure.
